Waxil Ear Drops 10ML belongs to the class of drugs called 'otic agents' which are used to treat pain caused by impacted ear wax. Waxyl Ear Drops 10ML softens and clears affected earwax (earwax buildup). Excessive earwax build-up is caused by other conditions such as ear infection, inflammation, or injury, or deformity of the ear bone, skin conditions such as eczema (skin inflammation), or narrowing of the ear canal.

WAXIL EAR DROPS 10ML is a combination of four drugs: Paradichlorobenzene, Benzocaine, Chlorobutanol and Oil of Turpentine. Paradichlorobenzene serves as a hydrating agent. It also softens the earwax by reducing its thickness. Benzocaine works as a local anesthetic and relieves pain. Chlorobutanol also serves as a wax softener. It has antibacterial properties as well. Turpentine oil works as a lubricating agent. It can also help relieve earache.

This medication should be used as prescribed by a doctor. The common side effects of WAXIL EAR DROPS 10ML are difficulty sleeping, skin irritation, redness and headache. These side-effects are usually mild and temporary and do not require medical attention. However, if any of these side effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor right away.

Do not take WAXIL EAR DROPS 10ML if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use in patients with ear infections, perforated eardrums or eczema (skin inflammation) of the outer ear. Before taking WAXIL EAR DROPS 10ML, tell your doctor if you have hearing problems (including deafness), bowel problems (including blockage, swelling, ulcers), kidney problems, myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disease), and Parkinson's disease. Terms of Use
